| LATEST PRODUCTION
Ashcan Theatre Company’s next Café Theatre production will be an exciting double-bill of contemporary plays. Under the umbrella title of Benchmark, the programme will comprise The Mikado by Mark Ravenhill (not to be confused with the G&S Operetta of the same name), and Wigs and Knickers – a brand new play by company member Nigel Banks. The plays are to be staged at The Farmhouse, 11 Dover Street, Canterbury. CT1 3HD on Tuesday March 27th, Wednesday March 28th and Thursday March 29th 2012.
As usual, places will be limited, so to avoid disappointment, pre-booking is essential. To reserve a table, telephone 01227-456118.
Doors open at 7pm, and the performance will commence at 9.15pm approx.
For more detailed information about the production, go to the Next Production page on the website.

FAREWELL BRIAN ROSS
The next production will be his last for Ashcan, as Brian Ross heads off back to his native Maine in the USA with his wife Dyan this summer to start a new chapter (or perhaps “Act” would be more appropriate!) in their lives. He has been living in Kent for over 15 years now and is a founder member of Ashcan Theatre Company. He has designed and built all the sets, and appeared onstage in all but two of our productions over the last ten years.
Needless to say, we will miss his theatrical contributions hugely, not to mention his integrity, wisdom, and good humour. We wish him and Dyan every success in their new life “Over the pond” and hope that, if we are able to struggle on without him, that we will be able to maintain the high standards to which he always aspired. |
Seating capacity is strictly limited, so pre-booking is
essential. To reserve your table, telephone 01227-456118. “
